I am the dance teacher at Roberts MS and one of three dance teachers at Fulshear HS.  I am also the Fulshear Storm Dance Team coach at CFHS.  I have been a dance educator in the public school system since 2002.  I began my career at Westfield HS in Spring ISD, then taught at Bush HS in Ft. Bend ISD and Lamar Consolidated HS in LCISD.  I was the dance teacher at both Leaman JH & Fulshear HS when the purple track opened in 2016 but am now one of two dance educators in the Purple Track.  I received my BS at the University of Houston where I majored in Health and minored in Dance.  I am a member of the Texas Dance Educator Association (TDEA) and am the TDEA DEAL Executive Administrator over the dance assessment program, DEAL (Dance Educators Assessment of Learning).  I was the 2015 TDEA Director of the Year Finalist and the 2021 Fulshear Teacher of the Year.

I have been married for 21 years to my wonderful husband, Gene, and we have two amazing children, Zakary (19), who is a Class of 2022 graduate of CFHS and now a Cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point, and Meghan (16), who is a dancer on the Fulshear Storm Dance Team.  We are a PROUD Charger & Army family!!
